Artwave is a new name for a young company, formerly, "BetterAudition".

The advent of American Idol removed most of the thunder originally intended for BetterAudition. The initial purpose was to critique the performances of want-to-be entertainers.

Artwave is an adaptation of one of the pages that was offered on the previous website whereby the company would give away a signed lithograph of presented artwork in the gallery to whichever contestant could come up with the best title. There was a nominal fee for each entry.

The new goal of "ARTWAVE" is to produce, buy, and sell original artwork, primarily paintings, signed lithographs, photographs, and drawings. Authentication is key.

In the future, the company intends to jury art openings and present works from all walks of life that follow certain specialized themes.

There will also be a screenplay and poetry competition.
